2nd Annual Krewe de Columbi- Ya Ya Mardi Gras Festival and Parade!
Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 12:00 PM - Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:00 AM (EST)
In 2011, Columbia’s first Mardi Gras krewe, Krewe de Columbi-Ya-Ya, took to the streets of Rosewood on a walking parade full of music and beads. Afterward, the Krewe and friends had a huge Mardi Gras party at City Roots Urban Farm with food, drink and music!
On Saturday, February 18th, 2012, Columbia’s
first Mardi Gras Krewe will roll again...
Rain or shine we roll. Parade with us for free, join our krewe or start your own. Parade begins at three o’clock. Eating, drinking, masking and merrymaking continue throughout the day and into the wee hours at our Mardi Gras Ball at City Roots Farm.
Laissez les Bons Temps Roullez, y’all!
Get your tickets early! Price will increase at the door and the week of the event. $10 now and $15 the week of! Children 12 and under get in free.
In the true sense of Mardi Gras, we’d love to have more krewes join us in 2012 for an even bigger and better bash. Our goal is to make Columbia the biggest and best place outside of Louisiana to celebrate Mardi Gras.
For more information, email us at email@example.com. We’ll try to answer your questions as coherently as possible, but please understand that we’re usually inebriated, so it may not be easy to follow.
